7th & 8th grade - FSA Reading & Math
May 1st & 2nd: For part of this test, students are required to have headphones/earbuds. We are requesting that your student bring his/her own WIRED headphones/earbuds for testing. Please let your child's guidance counselor know if this will be an issue.
Note: wireless earbuds are NOT allowed.
May 6th & 7th: On Day 2 of this test, a scientific calculator may be used. Although a scientific calculator is provided within the testing platform, if your student prefers a handheld calculator, they may bring the following calculator to use: TI-30Xa. Note: this calculator will also be required for future math courses that your student will take at NBH. This calculator may be purchased at Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc. for around $9 - $14.
8th Grade Students:
All 8th Grade Students will continue to use their Chromebooks for each of these tests. Please ensure that your student brings their Chromebook to school on these test days, fully charged.
9th & 10th grade – FSA Reading
10th grade students will be taking the reading portion of the FSA ELA test on May 1st & 2nd.

Tupelo Beekeepers’ Field Day
Where: NBH Elementary in the Grassy Field
When: Saturday, April 27th from 9am-2pm
What: This is a Field Day for anyone who loves bees, from those interested in beekeeping, to those who already have bees. Our classes will be on Basic Beekeeping Tools; Splitting Your Bees; Mites, Treatment, and Alcohol Wash; and You Have Bees, Now What?
Lunch will be provided with entry fee.

VARSITY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEER teams are hosting the annual
NBH Cheer Father/Daughter Dance
Date: April 26, 2019
Place: NBH Gym
Time: 6:00 to 8:00
Cost: Pre-Sale $12.00 FOR THE COUPLE (tickets in the school offices)
At the door $15.00
Fathers dress up take your daughter out for date night show her what a real date is and show her all your dance moves and your daughter gets to dress up too and teach you some new dance moves. Dinner is included with the ticket for each of you. Extra items available for purchase (see flyer for details). Georgia Cooper Photography will be available at the dance for photos, $20 for 2-5x7s, of your night out. The Father/Daughter dance is a FUNdraiser for our cheerleaders’ individual accounts. The first Fifty daughters to enter the dance receive a Free Tiara.
Cross Country Meeting
There will be a parent/student information meeting on Apr 24th at 515pm for the upcoming Cross Country season.
Cross country is open to all eligible 6th grade-12th grade students. Meeting will be held by Coach Grogan in the media center.
NBH Middle School Football
There will be a middle school football meeting on Wednesday, May 1 at 6pm in the cafeteria. All 5th, 6th, and 7th graders interested in participating in spring training and/or playing in the fall should attend. Spring training will run May 7-9 and will require an up to date sports physical. The sports physical forms can be found in the Middle/High school front office. If you cannot attend or need more info, please contact NBHMSF@gmail.com
