Federal Impact Cards were sent home, Friday, November 3rd  Cards are due to the front office by November 13th!!!!! 

All military members and civilian employees, (including contractors) who are parents or legal guardians of children attending public schools (including charter schools) in grades K-12 should be on the lookout for the 

To qualify, they must be in one of the following categories:

  1. Have a parent or guardian active in the military (uniformed service);
  2. Live on one of the military bases;
  3. Have a parent who works on one of the military bases - this includes civil service and those who work for military contractors.

Funds received through Federal Impact Aid help off-set the tax revenue that is lost due to the tax exempt status of the federal property located within the school district. Federal Impact Aid is a source of desperately needed funding and other benefits for our local school district.


VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION – NOVEMBER 9th from 9:00am-10:00 am

We will be display photographs of your Veterans in a Slide show before and after our program.  Please send a digital copy of your Veteran's picture preferably in uniform - to Mrs. Duncan by Tuesday November 7, 2017

Canned Food Drive

Parents grab a couple of extra cans of vegetables and/or fruits for the Canned Food Drive here at NBHCA. Send them with your student in the mornings to give to their first period class teacher. We are counting the cans donated by each classroom and the class with the greatest amount of canned goods donated will win a PIZZA PARTY donated by the Key Club here at NBH high school. The canned food will be distributed along with other foods to the needy families here in our area for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Our drive will end on November 10th, please help by donating canned goods. 



7th grade Manatee Parent Meeting

Manatee informational meeting will be Thursday, November 8, 2017 at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria.   Packets were sent home Monday.




MS/HS SGA Members

MS/HS SGA Members attending the Leadership Conference in Tallahassee on Monday, Nov. 13th need to turn in their new, updated permission slip and medical authorization forms by Thursday, Nov. 9th.  There are still seats available on the charter bus for interested members.  The cost of the trip is $40.  We will be leaving NBH at 6:15 a.m.

Bay Haven and North Bay Haven Basketball Academy - The annual K-8 Bay Haven and North Bay Haven boys/girls basketball academy has officially started.  It is NOT too late to sign-up!  Registration form attached


Girl Scouts

Attention all girls! Are you interesting in making new friends, playing sports and games, experimenting with science, traveling, camping, and so much more? Join the Girl Scouts! We will meet on Wednesdays at 3:45pm in room 152. Please see the attached flyer for more information. We hope to see you there!





Rockin the West Dance

The Middle School Cheer team is holding their annual Rockin the West dance.  Tickets will go on sale in the cafeteria during lunch(s), starting Nov. 13th through Nov. 17th.
