Honor Clubs at NBH
Please see the attached flyer for information about the many honor clubs we have at North Bay Haven Career Academy. The 2018-19 membership drive for all honor clubs is . See attached document for contact information, application process, & all important deadlines. Please note that SAIL Academy is now participating in this process, details for applying are included here. ALL students must apply annually for SAIL.
ALL 9th - 12th grade students who wish to join or remain a part of SAIL MUST apply and pay their membership fees by ! The applications are available at the front desk and must be completed and turned in along with your $25 membership dues no later than . The requirements to be a part of SAIL are a 3.5 cumulative weighted GPA and you must be enrolled in at least 2 core (English, Math, Science or Social Students) honors, Dual Enrolled or Advanced Placement courses each year.
Grades will be verified after Quarter 1 posting on and at that time official acceptance letters will be sent out. If you turned in your application and membership fees and DO NOT meet the requirements you membership fee will be refunded.

For over 100 years, the Girl Scout mission has been to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Girls participate in fun activities, get outdoors to learn skills, and explore the world around them. Girl Scout Troop 3005 would like to invite all girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade to join in on the fun! Our first parent/troop meeting will be Wednesday, August 29 at 3:45pm in room 152 (on the middle school side). The girls must be registered through the Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle to attend the meetings. More information can be found at www.gscfp.org.

CLASH OF CLASSES
SEPT. 21st, Homecoming Kickoff, CLASH OF CLASSES will take place after an activity bell. There will be 4 events, Dodgeball, Blanket Relay, Powderpuff Volleyball and the new Color Obstacle Relay (Foam and Color).
$20 to watch or play, to get out of class/study hall. Help your teacher earn $100 and your grade earn $600. Our purchase goal for this this year is a spirit flag for all events. See the attached flyer for more information. Also, Colors have been selected for color wars:

WALK-A-THON / FUNRUN
We are gearing up for our annual Walk-A-Thon, Oct. 17th-Oct. 26th. This year we are using a company, Boosterthon.com, so that we can move into the digital age of online pledges and social media pledge gathering. In a few weeks we will be sending out much more information on this.
But in the meantime, we are working on getting our Business Sponsors. Please see the attached Business Sponsor Form. There is a hard deadline of Sept. 28th for the Bus.Sponsors, as we are having shirts made this year and need to have the order placed in time to receive the shirts for the FUNrun.
